Cookie notice

We keep only the cookies needed to run this site and to remember this choice. There is no advertising pixel and no third-party marketing tag on these pages.

A short notice for a small site

What we store

The choice in your browser

When you select Accept or Decline on the banner, the site writes a value of accept or decline to local storage in your browser under the key sgait-cookie. That value is used only to hide the banner on later visits. It is not used to identify you across other sites. If you clear site data, the banner will appear again until you choose.

We treat that storage as the memory of your choice. It is not a tracking cookie in the advertising sense. Some browsers still describe any such storage under a cookie heading, which is why this page exists. You can decline and still read every page. The banner does not block the content behind it once you have chosen, and with JavaScript off the pages remain readable.

Hosting

What the server may set

This site is hosted on shared infrastructure located in Singapore. The host may set a session cookie that is strictly necessary to deliver pages, to balance load, or to protect the service. Those cookies are not used by Singaporeaitools to profile visitors. We do not run analytics packages that follow you across visits for marketing. We do not drop cookies from social networks on these pages.

The map in the footer is an embed from Google Maps. Loading that frame may cause Google to set its own cookies in your browser according to Google’s terms. We do not load the Google Maps JavaScript API with a key on this site. If you do not wish to load the map, you can use a browser control to block third-party frames. The address is also written in text: 38 Beach Road, South Beach Tower, Singapore 189767.

Fonts

Type served from Google Fonts

Headings use Bricolage Grotesque and body text uses Inter, requested from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google’s font hosts to download those files. That request can include ordinary technical data such as an internet protocol address. If you prefer not to use those hosts, a system font will still render the pages in a readable way, though the intended type will not appear.

We do not use the font request as a measurement tool of our own. If Google’s practices change, this notice will be updated. Last updated 13 February 2026.

Your control

How to change your mind

Clear this site’s data in your browser settings, or delete the sgait-cookie key from local storage. The banner will show again. Choosing Decline does not reduce access to the advisory pages. Choosing Accept does not authorise marketing cookies, because we do not set them.

For how we handle names, email addresses, and messages sent through the form, read the privacy notice. Questions can go to [email protected]. We reply within one working day, Monday to Friday.

Accept and decline

What each button does

Accept writes the value accept into local storage and hides the banner on later visits to Singaporeaitools. Decline writes the value decline and also hides the banner. In both cases the pages remain readable. We do not then load a marketing tag. The two buttons exist so you can record a choice, including a choice to refuse anything beyond what the host needs to deliver the page.

If JavaScript is turned off, the banner stays visible because the script that reads local storage does not run. The rest of the site, including the side rail and every internal link, still works. That is deliberate. Navigation on a small screen is a horizontally scrolling row of links, with no menu that depends on a script.

You can change the stored value by clearing site data. You can also refuse third-party frames in the browser if you do not want the map to load. The postal address remains in the footer as text, so the map is a convenience rather than the only way to find 38 Beach Road, South Beach Tower, Singapore 189767.

Why a banner

A small site still owes you a choice

We do not run advertising. We do not measure scroll depth for a sales team. We still show a banner because the map embed and the font hosts can set storage we do not control, and because remembering your choice itself uses storage. Being plain about that is part of the same duty we describe on the governance pages: know what leaves the browser, and say so in language a person can finish in two minutes.

The Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in Singapore is about personal data, not about every cookie in the abstract. An internet protocol address in a host log can be personal data in context. We keep those logs only to operate the site. Enquiry forms collect a name and a work email because we cannot reply without them. None of that is an excuse to add a tracker later without updating this notice.

Established in Singapore in 2026, the practice would rather keep this site quiet than dress it with measurement. If we ever add a strictly necessary cookie beyond what the host already uses, we will name it here with a purpose and a retention period. Last updated 13 February 2026.
